A simple OCC plant model is presented in this example.

What do you want to see?
|
|
The OCC plant recycles tons of old corrugated containers (OCC). The OCC plant
incorporates equipment for the removal of waxes and other additives through washing
and cleaning. It processes
the old corrugated, reducing it to fiber suitable for production of quality linerboard.
Consistency split allows the user to specify the fraction of solids that goes to the first outlet and also the consistency of the first outlet. The user needs to choose if the first outlet is going to be the rejects or the accepts flow. It is better to choose the rejects flow because this is the smaller flow and is often known.

Consistency split: Screens, knoters, cleaners and other pulp cleaning devices can be easily simulated by using the Selective_split block.
The fraction of solids that leave through the fist outlet and the first outlet consistency can be specified. In this way, the first outlet is the rejects flow, and this flow is well specified. The rest of the inlet stream is leaving through the second outlet as accepts flow.

Text and drawings: We strongly advice users to add text into the
model view to describe the device simulated by each apiMax block. In this way, other
users which see the model can easily understand it. Drawings such as rectangles
and cycles can be used to improve the appearance of the model and to make it more
readable.
